What's Covered?

Coverage for dependent child/children

The coverage shall be provided if the insured person suffers an illness or gets injured due to an accident during the policy year, resulting in permanent total disablement or permanent partial disablement. The financial assistance will be provided if the dependent child/children should be below the age of 25 years, is unmarried as on the date of the incident or whether or not the child is an insured person under this policy.
Minor Child Coverage

The insured sum will be paid to the parent/legal guardian in the case of a dependent child/children being a minor.
Coverage for More than One Child

If only one child, the entire sum insured will be paid to that child. In case of more than one child, the policy amount insured will be equally divided among the eligible children.

What is not covered?

The policy does not cover any accident caused due to adventure sports.
If the child/children has any pre existing illness, it is not covered in the policy.

The waiting period is applicable for the following

● Cataract of the eye

● Hysterectomy for Menorrhagia or Fibromyoma or prolapse of Uterus

● Knee Replacement Surgery, Non-infectious Arthritis, Gout, Rheumatism, Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis, Joint Replacement Surgery, Prolapse of Intervertebral discs and all Vertebrae diseases.

● Varicose Veins and Varicose Ulcers.

● Stones in the urinary uro-genital and biliary systems including calculus diseases.

● Benign Prostate Hypertrophy, all types of Hydrocele.

● Fissure, Fistula in anus, Piles, all types of Hernia, Pilonidal sinus, Hemorrhoids and any abscess related to the anal region.

● Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media (CSOM), Deviated Nasal Septum, Sinusitis and related disorders, Surgery on tonsils/Adenoids, Tympanoplasty and any other benign ear, nose and throat disorder or surgery.

● Gastric and duodenal ulcer, any type of Cysts/Nodules/Polyps/internal tumors/ skin tumors, and any type of Breast lumps (unless malignant), Polycystic Ovarian Diseases
