IRCTC, BoB Financial Team Up To Launch New Co-Branded Rupay Credit Card: Details

The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) along with BoB Financial Solutions Limited (BFSL), a subsidy of the Bank of Baroda (BoB) recently launched the IRCTC BoB Rupay Credit Card for commuters. The credit card is contactless and comes with a host of benefits for people who commute frequently with the Indian Railways.
Indian Railways are one of the most commonly used modes of transport by a majority of the population in the country. The ratio of the number of people who avail the railway facility for the daily work commute or other personal travel is considerably high. The aim of the IRCTC BoB Rupay contactless card is specifically curated to maximise savings to frequent railway travelers. The credit card benefits also extend to categories such as fuel, shopping, etc. for this card. Cardholders can also earn reward points on using this credit card for 1AC, 2AC, 3AC, CC, or EC bookings. For eg: with each ₹100 spent, a cardholder can earn upto 40 credit card reward points. Cardholders can also save 1% on transaction charges for ticket booking via the IRCTC website or mobile app by using this card.

Surcharge Waiver: 1% fuel surcharge waiver on transactions between ₹500-₹3000

Zero liability: Enjoy zero liability on loss of card/fraudulent activities when you report credit card loss immediately
Extra Rewards: 2 reward points for every ₹100 spent on any other category including train ticket purchases on IRCTC Website and Mobile App. The accumulated reward points can be redeemed to enjoy cashback.
