Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Scheme was launched in 2007 to provide financial aid to low-income families in Andhra Pradesh. Its benefits include In-patient care for all the listed diseases, Outpatient care, annual coverage of ₹5 Lakhs per family to registered family members, coverage for diseases the beneficiary is already suffering from and follow-ups post-hospitalisation. You need an Aadhaar card, an address proof, an income certificate and a BPL certificate to register under this scheme. You can enrol yourself under the scheme by visiting the official website of YSR Navasakam or Gram Ward Sachivalayam portal and following the instructions therein.

Eligible applicants can enrol in the Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Scheme online by completing these easy steps:

• Step 1: Go to the YSR Navasakam or Gram Ward Sachivalayam portal's official website. https://navasakam.apcfss.in/ or https://gramawardsachivalayam.ap.gov.in/GSWS/Home/Main)

• Step 2: Click the login button. Complete the Dr YSR Aarogyasri login process.

• Step 3: Go to the Aarogyasri Health Card application form on the internet.

• Step 4: Fill in the blanks with the essential information.

• Step 5: Include any supporting documentation.

• Step 6: Submit the application form and print a copy.

After enrolling, families will get a Dr YSR Health Card, which includes a unique card number, the cardholder's image, and other information. The Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Card verifies that beneficiaries are registered in the plan and may use cashless services at network hospitals.

• ₹1.5 Lakhs reimbursement

• Additional benefits up to ₹50,000

• Up to ₹2 Lakhs for serious or critical illnesses

Beneficiaries can get the Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Card by completing the processes outlined below. The AP Aarogyasri card download process can be completed in 5 simple steps.

• Step 1: Go to the YSR scheme's official website.  (https://www.ysraarogyasri.ap.gov.in/)

• Step 2: On the webpage, click on 'EHS' and then 'Download Health Card.'

• Step 3: Enter your user ID and click 'Go.'

• Step 4: Enter the information asked for the YSR health card to appear on the screen.

• Step 5: Save a soft copy of the same for further use.

• Step 3: On the new page, select the option ‘Patient’ and click on ‘Health Card Status’.

• Step 4: Enter your Employee ID or Pensioner ID to proceed.

• Step 5: After you click on ‘Search’, the status of your YSR Health Card will be displayed on the screen.

• Step 3: Select the option ‘Search Employee Enrolment Status’ under the ‘Employee’ section.

• Step 4: Enter the requested details and submit.

• Step 5: The status will be displayed on the screen.

• Step 3: Select the option ‘Employee Medical Reimbursement Status’.

• Step 4: Choose medical reimbursement (online/offline) and enter the trust number and DME number.

• Step 5: Submit the same and the reimbursement status will be displayed on the screen.

• Step 3: Select the option ‘Pensioner Medical Reimbursement Status’.

• Step 4: Choose medical reimbursement (online/offline) and enter the trust number and DME number.

• Step 5: Submit the same and the reimbursement status will be displayed on the screen.

According to Telangana, the Dr YSR Aarogyasri plan is more effective than the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, when measured against each other on the following criteria:

Residents of Andhra Pradesh need to be eligible to avail of the benefits under the Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Scheme. The eligibility criteria are as follows -

• The applicant must have less than 35 acres of land (wetland + dry land).

• The applicant must fall under the municipal property tax-paying families having less than 3000 sq. ft.

• Outsourcing, contractual, part-part employees, and sanitisation workers having annual income over ₹5 Lakhs are eligible under the scheme.

• The applicant can be an Honorary remuneration employee or a private sector employee.

• The applicant cannot have more than one car.

• The families filing IT up to ₹5 lakh are eligible under the scheme.
