A new service for instant PAN (or Permanent Account Number) allocation based on the Aadhaar number was just introduced by the Indian Finance Ministry.   • Step 7: Click on the ‘I agree that’ checkbox and then on the ‘Continue’ button. 

  • Step 8: Your registration will be successful following the verification of your Aadhaar information. You will also be provided with an acknowledgement number, which you can use to track your instant PAN card status. 

Requirements to Apply for Instant PAN Card

The following criteria must be met in order to apply for an e-PAN with Aadhaar-based e-KYC:

  • Mobile number linked with an Aadhaar card

  • Valid Aadhaar number that has not been linked to a PAN card
